Congratulations to James Prescott, the latest person to join our growing family of authors.
James has lovingly researched and translated Ouverture de Cuisine, one of the more important books of pre-modern cooking. The original book provides a link between medieval and renaissance cooking, and true modern cooking. It was originally written by Lancelot de Casteau in French, and as such has been difficult to access for the more general history student, researcher or fan. Thanks for James’s translation, we can all now appreciate this wealth of information.
