We’ve seen another wonderful review of Falling Pomegranate Seeds by Wendy Dunn, on the “Tudors and other histories” website.
The owner of the website, Minerva Casterly, said, “It is refreshing to see a historical fiction devote so much time to Katharine’s formative years, and sets the stage for the next books in her Katharine of Aragon series.” And the review ends with these glowing words “I recommend this book to all history buffs and those of you who like me, are very passionate about Tudor history.”.
We love that people enjoy the efforts that our historical novelists go to when writing their books. It is something we look out for when selecting authors – someone who is passionate about getting historical detail correct. Wendy certainly fits the bill with this book as it is a wonderfully detailed look at the early years of the life of Katherine of Aragon (first wife of Henry VIII). Readers will be glad to know that this is the first part of a series of historical fiction novels from Wendy J Dunn, looking at Katherine’s life. Wonderful stuff!
